In the history of the U.S. too many people have been treated poorly and even killed for simply being who they are.

In honor of this year's Transgender Awareness Week, (Nov. 16-Nov. 20) we have put together this investigative project to spread the awareness of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community that still experiences these tragic acts of hate in their everyday lives.
