Flora Hanitijo
Flora is a photogrpaher that has become of recent interest to me. She is based out of New York and she shoots everything from landscapes to fashion. She was recently featured as one of Photo District News top new and emerging photogrpahers of 2009. Her work has been featured in magazines like W and Nylon. I first discovered her when I came across the Au Revior Simone 'Bird of Music' album, featured in the top two photos. Not only did I like the album, but Flora's photograph on the cover was what initially caught my eye. I like how she does not limit herself to one specific area of focus. Her work is just apart of her life. I also love the underlying whimsical and light hearted feeling of it all.
